Richard Amoroso

With over 40 years of experience as both an experienced trial attorney and insurance executive, Rich has developed core competencies in insurance regulation, reinsurance, insurance bad faith, products liability, business litigation and asset recovery. As the former Chairman and CEO of an AZ domiciled property & casualty insurance company and NV risk retention group captive, as well as the former Managing Agent/President of a commercial insurance agency/brokerage, Rich can bring a unique perspective to any matter based on my understanding of the inner workings of the insurance industry. Rish’s mission/goal is to provide effective and efficient legal solutions to my clients. Rich and his partners started Amoroso Axel Casale so that we could provide clients with the highest level of legal representation at more reasonable rates than our former big firm colleagues. During his career, Rich has successfully assisted clients in navigating complex, challenging and highly sophisticated legal challenges. Rich has leveraged his understanding of the insurance industry to assist large private and public corporate and private equity clients with insurance due diligence, planning and strategy involving a wide array of issues and transactions. Additionally, Rich has applied his skills both as a reinsurance arbitrator and expert witness in the insurance industry to achieve favorable outcomes for his clients in traditional and alternative dispute resolution forums. Prior to joining Amoroso Axel Casale, Rich was an equity partner at Squire Patton Boggs and prior to that the Chairman and CEO of Repwest Insurance Company.
